Shattered Glass: A WNBPA STORY

“Businesswomen, athletes, superstars. Get a rare, all-access look at the lives of WNBA luminaries Jonquel Jones, Nneka Ogwumike, and Breanna Stewart.”

During this project, I sent out crew agreements, coordinated locations, and sets, tracked budgets, reconciled purchases, and hired freelancers. This was an amazing opportunity to work with this large-scale team and to manage the operations and logistics of this.

 THE GOLDEN CHILD

Over the past few months I had the pleasure of knowing Des, a young aspiring female rapper from Brooklyn. Growing up life was not easy for her but that does not mean that she gave up and ignored her true calling. Willing to give up everything she once knew, including her family's high expectations, Des follows her heart to become the rapper she always knew she could be. Her story has fully yet to unfold.

This project was done for the Fall Workshop 2018 at Syracuse University.

MOTHER NATURE

Christa Nunez is a farmer, a mother, an entrepreneur, and most important a leader in her community. Starting the Learning Farm a few years ago she has been able to teach kids in her neighborhood the importance of farming and being on land.

This is a family that I followed and documented, which includes all pre-production, production and post.

BLACK GIRLS DON’T GET LOVE

Continuing to feel like she is at the bottom of the totem pole Eden Stratchan tells the story of her struggles with being a black woman dealing with beauty standards in a biased industry.
