Christa Nunez, mother of three living in Ithaca, NY has only one dream in mind: Teaching communities how to harvest and eat healthy and sustainable foods through farming and land ownership. Coming from the big city Christa has seen how fresh air and being in nature has affected her family and only hopes that one-day local markets and organic foods would become the norm.
Christa Nunez is a farmer, a mother, an entrepreneur, and most important a leader in her community. Starting the Learning Farm a few years ago she has been able to teach kids in her neighborhood the importance of farming and being on land.
